2022 season

I can’t Believe the 2022 archery season is already over. It always comes and goes so fast and this year seemed as fast as any. This year my group of four (my wife only was able to go a couple of days and one from our group had no days off so he was a weekend warrior) was able to get a bear and a six point bull. Overall I would call it a success…it was the first year we used tree stands and we will definitely continue to use them. I passed up a shot at a rag horn (5 point) and had I of broke the right branches I would of had a 40 yard shot on a decent 6 point. We learned a ton about tree stands and placement and we are hoping the next year is better than this year…elk numbers were down in our area. We got 80 % less pictures on our cameras this year then we have the last 3…crazy difference…it was overall a hot season and the last week of the season a lot of the Aspen trees hadn’t even turned yellow yet… good luck to all that are still getting ready to head out on their tags
