Elk Camp Gear 2022 - on my short list.

Each year, during the hunt, on the way home, or in between my return and now…. I always come up with a thing or two that I feel would benefit the next years hunt. Could be anything from more small propane bottles for lanterns and small BBQ grill, a new screen gazebo for a cook-shack, replacement insoles for hunting boots, better ________, you get the picture. What is on your short list to get before you hit the trail to your elk hunt this year?

I think I just need to restock the supplies I used up last season. I have been thinking about getting an ATV but they are too expensive.

For the 1st time in a long time I'm not adding anything to my camp list. I'm finally pulling out the 12X binos that I bought to use an Idaho, since I didn't get to go last year. Other than that my pack and camp lists are dialed.

I added some Sitka, found a good deal on broadheads, insoles for my backup boots. Now I need to shoot bow and get some longer walks in. A couple more weeks of 14 days and it should slow down at work.

Well a few more new hunting clothing items in my hunt camps this year , Replaced my worn out Danner boots, ,2000 gm LaCross boots, 150, and 300 weight Skre Merino Wool bottoms and some Sitka Fanatic bibs.
As I wear our my socks they will all be replaced with over-the-calf Darn Tough socks

Oh just remembered also Pack-a-Pull https://packapull.com/. We might even get more exotic and haul up a freezer to save my wife a trip or two when we kill deer.
