Hi everyone...if I buy an over the counter elk tag in unit 65 can I use that tag in other units if so how would I know witch units?thanks!

Look in the big game brochure. At the beginning of the elk section it will tell you that a bull only OTC tag is usable in all units except..... I don't know if 65 is over the counter or not.

Its were we went last year,do you sugest somewere elce?I was thinking the flattops instead?not sure just been reading this was a good area.when I hear of a good area l,I start thinking over hunted...

On my tag last year it says " statewide Except LTD Units" does this mean that i can hunt any units that are otc?

Not to hijack but this would be along the same lines. If I were to buy a leftover limited tag could I hunt a otc unit next to the limited unit.

55 may be a draw unit, but there were leftovers available In 2012

Classic example of applying for a PP 1st Chice and 55 for your 2nd choice.
You get a PP AND get a tag...

This info is available by going thru the GMU Statistics
