Finally, hunting partner and I will taste the Wyoming elk hunting beverage. Resolution? To invite a couple of bulls to our place for dinner

To work out my shoulder and get back to the archery game. I sure missed it this year! Although I would have gladly given it up to hunt with my daughter like I did.

I am revising/updating the tree stand book. I may write another Blizzard the Travel Pillow book. My pillow goes hunting with me, so I am counting him in here. Bliz. keeps bugging me to help him get started, but it takes us over a year to finish after we have our outline. I am not sure what I want to do with elk hunting but intend to be out and trying again.

Just to go elk hunting with my Dad and enjoy time in the woods together. Where we are going I'm confident in killing an elk, so I'm going to put more emphasis on soaking in the time and experience. I actually hope to kill one early so we can spend a couple days exploring new areas without the pressure of a tag in my pocket.
I hunt therefore I am. I fish therefore I lie.

Are Goals different than Resolutions?
Have a spike camp set up. Get my wife to hike in
Shoot 150 sets before season
New to me bow?

Montana packout :D

You have a good-looking old Jeep. It looks like a great candidate for restoration.

Thanks Swede. I grew up with one exactly like it in Maine. My Dad and I had many an epic fishing trip bouncing around and in general having fun.
I had to sell it one tuff year.

Then, I saw this one same color and everything for sale on side of the road. Traded tree work for it.
So there is bad luck and then there is good luck. And I am sure lucky.
