New line of knives

Postby >>>---WW----> » 05 23, 2021 •  [Post 1]

I finally got my little knife shop all set up and will be posting several pictures of my new knives for sale on here soon. These knifes are built with the elk hunter in mind. Keep your eyes open ! ;)

Geez Louise, that’s all I need is another custom knife. ;). Anxious to see your new line up Bill.

What steel do you use? I'm always curious about knife makers choices in steel.

I look forward to seeing them as well. I have one he made a few years back & it does great, it's been in on several elk break-downs with no issues!

I use 3 different types of steel: W-1, W-2, and 80CrV2. The W-1 and W-2's are tempered to 57-58 Rockwell and the 80CrV2 is a little harder @59-60 Rockwell.

A man of many steels! That's very cool. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of some handiwork soon.
