You heard it hear first!

I am predicting that Joe got his bull this year. Mark it down.

Awesome Tigger. That is like predicting it will rain here in western Oregon during November.

Granted it is likely, but I am saying for sure. No doubt.

Confidence is always a good thing but what makes you so sure? Sounds like you have some insider information?

Ha! I knew it. You know that little black gizmo in your backpack on the bottom tucked under the seam? I track all of your movements and audio. Pretty cool hunt you had!

Heard it was an odd looking thing, perhaps from eating too much of that Wyoming sagebrush.

If Joe didn't fill his bull tag I think we'd have heard about the flying pigs on Fox news already...

Tigger, your prediction is like betting on the Dodgers to win more than half their games next season. It's not really a prediction  .

All I know is there is not a chance I would trade my partner/mentor. Joe has taught me a ton the last few years on the mountain!

Tom Grates... University of Wapiti class valedictorian. I’ve taught a TON of people some things about elk hunting. I always looked at guiding as teaching and assumed that every client wanted to learn how to do it on his own. When it comes to absorbing information Tom is like a sponge! That makes things way more rewarding for the teacher. Plus I’m not a fan of having to repeat myself. Lol He’s a good guy to have in camp and to travel with too. When you’re working yourself to the bone nothing beats a good partner. So anyway.....

Starting next year I will be offering an option to rent him out by the day with the purchase of a hunt plan. He can cook pretty well and he brings a pile of food too! Splits wood for fun so you don’t have to worry about that and he likes the tent warm so you never have to stack the wood stove in the middle of the night. Comes with a new automatic hot shower unit! You can follow this link to bid. Any takers?
