I have a problem.

Postby Fridaythe13th » 05 22, 2020 •  [Post 1]

I was driving to work today and coming down the hill at me was a truck and trailer and on top it looked to be 3 sets of elk horns. My 1st thought was, man! someone had a great hunting trip, thought 2nd was: I wonder where they got them. 3rd thought: it's May so it must be a taxidermist. As the truck and trailer went by me I had to laugh at myself, here it was a siding company and those aren't horn its ladder stabilizers hooked on ladders. I'm eather very blonde or I have a elk problem. I hope it's the 2nd one.

I don't see the problem?

You're just in peak hunting form! Optimism is what keeps us hunting long enough to spot the real deal.

seems like it's only a problem if you hit your release and are now trying to dig an arrow out of the truck.

otherwise, you're good.

Ha, you've got it bad Eric and I fear, there isn't any treatment, any therapy, or any type of intervention that will cure what you have. Its best to just "go with it" and accept that you are in fact, an elk hunting addict. I sincerely hope your condition continues for many years to come

It's the pandemic and being quarantined too much. Under the circumstances I try to be the problem rather than just have one.

This time of year I’m always looking for horns in the back of pickups...and then I’m mad because they found the horns and not me

Magic: Of coarse you don't understand. The problem is a mental one. If you don't have it; you don't get it.
