Montana Anyone?

Postby Indian Summer » 02 11, 2020 •  [Post 1]

I visited a great friend this past weekend at the Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg Pa. In his booth he pictures and quite a few sheds. After seeing them I’ve decided to start applying for a permit in Montana. Now that the Wyoming drawing is so late I can get a refund if I draw my Montana tag. The bulls are getting huge! He sold one skull of a dead bull he found for $1500 to another outfitter who wanted it for his lodge. There were super heavy bulls, bulls with giant whales tail back ends. Even a couple 7 points.

The deadline for Montana applications has been pushed back to April 1st this year. Business has been really good this year so I’m limiting sales to just 2 more hunt plans. If anyone is interested in a DIY hunting plan for Montana now would be the time to contact me and start asking questions so we can zero in on an area that fits your goals and abilities. So if you’re still undecided on where to hunt and looking for a place to call home let me know.

Good luck in the draws and with your upcoming season!

I'm in but the bulls I'm after aren't "huge." Gonna have to find a spot they are.

A long time ago I shot my first bull my first hunt in the third day in Montana as a nonresident my nephew hung a 350 bull beside minevon the meat pole

While I am on a budget for hunting I may trade my 2021 snow goose hunt or Reservation waterfowl for a big Montana bull
I think I would like to be rifle elk hunting in November too

Haha. I’ll wear a blindfold on the way in.
