How much does weather affect the migration??

Postby elkoholic » 12 05, 2012 •  [Post 1]

It's been a really super warm delightful season... The nights are cool but the days are really warm. How much is this going to affect the elk migration. Do they migrate regardless??

The seasons, snow & cold will effect their migration, as weather worsens & snows finally accumulate they will move out & towards wintering grounds! They can be delayed though if climates stay acceptable to them in present locations! Migration can weather dependent!
