Go Time!

Postby Bow4me » 10 12, 2016 •  [Post 1]

The day has finally arrived. I'm leaving Arkansas this afternoon headed for the Weminuche Wilderness in Colorado for first rifle. I've made a list and checked it twice hopefully I'm not forgetting anything.
It looks like it's been a little warm and dry so I'm guessing that the elk are still up high. If any of you guys that have been archery or ML could give some advice on what was happening when you left I would appreciate it. If not I'll report back next week.

Best of luck to you mister, go get em! I don't frequent the Centennial State but I'm sure others will chime in on what they've experienced during their seasons this year. Again, wish you the best of luck. RJ

Thanks guys. Drove straight through last night and I'm in Colorado this morning. 3 more hours and I'll be off the grid.

I drove from. Parker to Durango this morning. High Fire Danger from South Fork to Durango. Only a Dusting of snow on the peaks. Did see a bull feeding outside of LaVeta around 7:30 am. Big surprise awaited me outside Pagosa Springs. A herd of about twenty. I am attempting to download from my phone and not doing a good job. When I get a chance will upload
