66 days....

I'm 66 days as of July 9th from leaving for my first ever elk hunt. It will be here sooner than I can fathom.

Here is the sad part. Those 66 days will take about 3.5 years. It is a proven fact that clocks slow down prior to your hunt and then speed up during the hunt to make up for it.

I have only 48 days left to go. In the mean time I have two scouting trips, plus will leave five days early for the hunt. That leaves only about 35 days at home before I will be hunting. There is a lot left to do.

I hear you....I wasn't overdoing anything, but hurt my back really bad last Wednesday lifting weights......this had me seriously concerned, fortunately I've been getting better everyday....I was really sweating it for 2 days, no improvement....no I'm kinda spooked regarding weight lifting.
