I know a lot of hunters that use packets for heat. I dont think Ive used ten my whole life. With a lot of great cold gear the need is less. However I do have a Gerbing layout pad I use for goose hunting My dog uses it as much as I do

If there is a next purchase it will be a vest or back pad wrap

Be fore the invention of insulated hip boots I used electric socks. Used a lot of batteries but worth the comfort when trapping beaver in Minnesota winters

Paul thanks for post! Guys my name is Dwaine the creator of Podz Gear base layers. I saw a need (being able to wear less and staying warmer) I was tired of having to wear tons of layers and still ending up cold.

Our tops have 6 pockets and our bottoms have 2 that fit the normal size hand warmers that you probably already use (cheap heat)... I totally agree Lefty I haven't every used 10 warmers either, actually I normally only use the middle two pockets on of the base layer top but I always have the option to use the other 4 if needed.
