Well folks, When the Sun is Shining . . . make hay!



I'm just having such an awesome hunting season that I have to tell you guys because you have all played a large part in the successes that I'm experiencing.

My two good friends and I have had a pretty awesome year thus far and we aren't done yet!

3 Dudes in One Season . . . and Counting . . .
Wyoming Elk - two bulls down (1 archery and 1 rifle)
Idaho Deer - Two 4-points (one of which was 180" taped - Matt's Biggest buck yet)
Idaho Elk - two bulls down (opening morning of Rifle Season Double)

We are headed back out this weekend to see if we can get my 2nd bull. I still have a deer tag for the late archery season.

We are having a pretty good year.

Good luck on the archery Deer, I will be trying that one this season also. These archery rut hunts are a lot of fun.

Thanks Everyone, I'm feeling very blessed this year. It's a refreshing change of pace as for the last 5 years I have felt almost cursed.

This weekend is going to be an all-out Bonzai trip with no-holds-barred. I'm meeting Matt at his house Saturday morning at 03:30, picking Dax up at 04:15, Hiking by 04:45 and will go all day long until we find a bull!

With these guys and their can-do / Will-Do attitude . . . we might just get it done.

I'll dust off my poker face.
