Wall Tent Shop

Postby dreamhunter » 11 02, 2014 •  [Post 1]

I want to give a SHOUT OUT ! to the Wall Tent Shop. I ordered a 12x14 wall tent last fall along with a fly. I set it up once at home to see if I could do it,and I did. I got out to my campsite this past Sept and experienced a couple of unexpecteds. Nothing that ruined my trip. After I got back home I placed a call and talk to Rich at The Tent Shop.I explained what happened and I didn't get any of the "It's not my fault stuff, sorry". Right off the bat he said he would locate another tent and fly just like the one I had ordered and get it shipped to me. Because of the configuration it might take a little bit.I explained I'm in no hurry as I won't need it until next summer. This past Monday Fed Ex showed up with a brand new tent and fly.Get this,I didn't even have to send mine back first.Talk about trust.I like doing business with this guy and his business.I just called him a little bit ago and told him I have the return package ready to go.He said just put it out on the deck Tue. morning and FedEx will pick it up. If you are looking for a tent, this is a company I would recommend.Great products and even better service.

I don't know Rich personally but My son in law works PT for him and speaks highly of him and the business. Good to know from customers also.

I've lined up a few sponsors on this forum. They are all ones that have products I believe in and use. All of them are small businesses with nice owners that provide great service. Glad you guys have been kind enough to give them your business.

I love my 10 by 12. I took a drive down a river road in Wyoming one day and noticed several tents with the big "Wall Tent Shop" sign on the front.

I've owned and used many different brands of tents over the years. I'm pretty happy to have found what I consider to be the best out there AND it's the cheapest too!

I picked up a 12x14 with fly around home from craigslist. It was from Anchor Industries Inc. It is a heavy fire and water retardant tent with a tie closer on both doors. I wanted a zipper and was researching if Brass or Plastic was better. I called Wall Tent Shop to ask questions. He was more than willing to help and recomended the Heavy Duty Plastic Zipper. He said they work better than brass ones with dirt and grit in them. He uses the plastic too. I purchased a couple and took the tent to an upholstry shop I had done business with before. I helped the owner and we installed 2 nice heavy zippers in my tent.
