I figured I'd share the photos on how we did this year, many wonder & many call asking this very question. I'll make it short & sweet, thanks everyone for helping us have a great year through your encouragement & inspiration! Feel free to ask any questions!

I will share photos in the order that each elk went down from 1st to last the best6 I can remember! Some you've seen & some you haven't.

Thanks everyone! Yes, it was a very good year!

Rizzy, they were all Idaho bulls on OTC hunts. Not sure if that bull was a herd bull or not, I'll have to ask, good question though! Sent you a PM.

That was not the heard bull, he was one of 2 satellites hanging around the heard. I got next to the cows and bugled and he was the first to walk over. I shot him at 18yrds, and no more than 15 sec after I shot, the heard bull (a giant 6x6) came over to check me out at 25yrds.

By the way JoeH20 (Clayton) is the one who shot that unusual bull you asked about Rizzy. He also called the bull in that 1st photo to 6-8 yards for his & our buddy, nice work by those two! I didn't hear the whole story on that one but I'll bet the bugle once again was the dominating force! Just a hunch!

Just curious because the normal side looks like a herd quality Bull. That 6 point that came in after you shot must have been a real stud, hope you connect on him next season

The first pick on this thread is actually a 345 bull I called in for our friend Traylor. When he came in and Trailer shot him, I wouldn't have said he was as big as the heard bull that walked in on me after I shot mine. Traylor's bull definitely had some major "ground grow". I can't say how big he was, but I told Trailor he was at least 330 when he came up to help pack my bull out. Maybe he wasn't as big as Traylors bull, but he definitely looked bigger on the hoof.

345 is a great bull for around here. Those bulls you guys got have good mass. Do you know about how old Traylor's bull was?
