Bow quietness for elk, how important?

Hey folks I have a pse stinger and am wanting to know the level of importance the sound of the bow upon release is for elk. Being a former whitetail hunter I think it's very important but not sure for elk. Are they prone to ducking or flinching from the bow sound? I put a few monkey tails on the string which helped but still think my bow is rather loud compared to the more costly ones I tried. I'm thinking of picking up some limbsavers to see if that would be another inexpensive aid.

Nothing wrong with wanting to quiet ones bow with reasonable measures but I agree that it's not a big deal with elk. Some ways to do this are shooting a balanced wt arrow for poundage pulled, string silencers & make double sure everything attached to your bow is very tight, some screws like backing out a bit so require attention especially in the quiver area.
