Binocular Steading Tip

Thought I would pass this on in case some hadn't heard about it.

You can steady your binoculars by using a finger from each hand and grabbing your hat bill. Works better on baseball style caps than boonie hats.

Makes a big difference when trying to steady up on an object to see if it is a stump or critter.

Haven't tried that. Will give it a shot. I like to sit with elbows on knees for stability

i do that.

kinda messes with my focus knob. i like laying back on my pack and scrunging everyhing down on my knees.

this year? i got a bino mount..game on.

I use my recurve as a mono pod. Probably doesn't work as well with those wheelie bows.
