Good wild game processors by state

OK, kind of like a “good outfitter by state” thread, who have you had good results with when it comes to wild game processing? Here we go……..

Agp in Steamboat did my deer. They didn't skin out the head or freeze the cape for me like I insisted but all of the meat cuts have been phenomenal. Michigan I use Chester's wild game meats. Pricey, especially if you get specialty meats but they always do a great job with fast turnaround.

Beaumann's in Burns Oregon and Russel's in John Day have been good. I could recommend them. I would not let the butcher at Erickson's Sentry market in Hines Oregon butcher a jack rabbit for me. The very best butcher I have ever had is my brother. He not only does a fine job but also takes the time to salvage all of the meat.
