Idaho question

Anybody have any experience hunting 76? I've never hunted ID before, but due to my schedule I'll be trying it this year. I only have the last week of September available so CO (where I typically go), is out. My big question is how crowded will 76 be the last week of September? If it's a madhouse I'll look elsewhere even if it means more windshield time.

As far as the last week, I'm not sure we have only hunted th 2nd and 3 rd week. We have ran into people but far from being a mad house. I believe it a draw zone and all the tags are sold out. But that keeps the numbers down. Good luck

It is a big unit. Some areas are a bit remote, but the horseman file in. Dark Timber to mixed and open highlands. Walk up or down 1000 foot elevation and the madhouse is gone

Thanks guys! You are correct, it is sold out, but it looks like some unsold "outfitters" tags go on sale August 1st. Sounds like if I can snag a tag it'll work for me.
