Year 2 what a difference.

Postby Fridaythe13th » 09 16, 2014 •  [Post 1]

Back from a great hunt and what a difference it makes to have elknuts and a years worth of experience. The group came back with 2 bulls for 6 people both were satellite 4x5 and a 5x5. Both came in the same way trying to call a heard bull.
The first bull on Sunday was a frontal shot at 11 yrds what a easy blood trail to follow for 300 yards. The 2nd was perfect broad side shot at 25 yds hit him 6" back of the heart and the bull ran to to the other hunter and he put a arrow just above the heart it still ran 300 yds with no blood the last 100.
I would send pic but I have a new dumb phone and have no idea how to get pic to this elknuts, but well work on it.
Last year 0 for 6 with the same people.
THANK YOU Elknuts fans, to Paul himself , Glacier Country Calls, Wapiti River Outdoors and to all the other sponsors. Great calls and great advice.

No did not hunt Pagosa. We were there 2nd season rifle a few year ago and have a few points for muzz. next year. But I was told it takes more than 3 PP to get drawen.
