Climber stands

Postby Elkhunttoo » 05 23, 2021 •  [Post 1]

I’ve been watching a lot of videos on the climber tree stands. I like the fact that I can use one stand and move it fairly easily. I don’t think I want to pack it much but I have a few areas that area within a couple hundred yards of each other that I could move it to my desired spot simple enough.

My big question is they seem super loud? Seems like between attaching it to the tree and climbing you would just make a ton of noise. Any thoughts on this, I know white tail guys use them and I would think if they were to bad no one would use them

I have used climbers a few times. I don't care much for them. I suppose I would use one if I planned to only hunt a tree a time or two, and the tree did not have a bunch of limbs to clear. My two hunting friends each bought one, then got rid of them after a couple of seasons. I think a Millennium hanging stand with several separate receivers is usually a better option, but if I plan only to go up a tree for a time or two, the climber makes sense.
