It is only a matter of time before a bad outcome. The wolf human attack rate has been so low the past 100 years because they were in an environment with few humans, not the case anymore.

I think he's right on the money when he said he should probably carry a bigger pistol. Maybe in New Mexico a .22 isn't a bad idea but in Idaho I think you need something bigger. Glad he had a couple wolf tags!
