Mules or horses and why.

We use mules for the usually reasons. Less spooky more sure footed, longer working life, and easier keepers

We had the pleasure of using mules several seasons ago. So easy to care for. Stake em down in a meadow with water and shade near. Feed bag em in the morning and night. Easy! But these were mules off a Montana pack train. They had experience!

From what I hear, horses require a little more attention. But I've never used them.

My 2-Cents.

I agree a good well trained mule is a pleasure to use. Ours have been elk hunting longer than we have, however an untrained or untrainable mule is useless.
