Well I went to a local 3-d shoot yesterday and was just getting ready to leave after they had already given away several thousands of dollars worth of vortex gear when I heard them call me name for the pick of two bows. There was a Athens specially made for vortex optics and a strothers sx-1. I chose the strothers just because I am more familiar with it. Now I just have to set it up and get her ready. I guess it can make the trip to co as a backup as I wont have time to get comfortable with it.

They were selling for $750-$800 last year. I dont know what they go for now. In fact the tag on it says $799.99.

Im currently out shooting this for the first time. If things keep going this way this will be my primary bow for Colorado. Sweet shooter for sure.

I tend to have a lot of lucky days like this. It is weird for me not to win a couple of guns throughout the year.
