Quick Reminder on Wyo Points...

Postby Indian Summer » 09 24, 2013 •  [Post 1]

Hunters can buy preference points only in Wyoming. The points only period is from July 1 to September 30th.

Even if you aren't able to hunt next year you will still keep your point.

It only takes one point to draw a general elk license & Wyoming has some great elk hunting in general areas.

Something to think about.

Less pressure???? Not sure.
Just signed up for my second. Slowly starting to plan one out but I don't like that wilderness thing they have going on. The research continues.

Sorry about that Paul. That's the number of people (residents) in each state. Wyoming has less people than a lot of the cities we live in. Makes a difference I think. Not only less pressure but less educated elk. Most vocal bulls of anywhere I've hunted. Elk spend more time in the open too it seems.

I think the number of resident antelope is higher than the number of people there. lol

There are NO ELK in Wyoming ... nothing to see here.

I heard Colorado was good. Look there.

5 million people ... must be very popular for a reason!
