back to new post

When I first get to the forum page I click on the new post tab. Then when I click on a thread and read it is there another way to get back to the new post without using the back arrow? When I reply to some threads and use the back arrow I guess they are not posting every time. On other sites I just scroll back to the top and click on the new post tab again. I don't see that on this site. thanks in advance for the help.

If you post a reply at the same time as someone else it wont post.
There is a small window that tells you this. But its not real noticeable.
I use the back button too
