Sounds great, I'm looking at setting up a tree stand in the area I hunt mulies, would some of the information in this book apply? I've never hunted out of tree stands but think it could be a good strategy in a area I've found. Just looking to get an idea on the basics, evaluating location, safety, general info etc.

Thanks in advance!

Guess I should add this to the traditions thread because I read Swede's book at least once before every season since I've had it. Great read even for non-treestand elk hunters!

I agree it’s a great book and a heck of deal for that kind of quality information for a pittance of a price, it even includes some insight on urinating on bears, now where else are you going to get that info…in all seriousness it is indeed a great book….thanks to Swede taking the time to put it together…..

Just read this while I was out camping last week. Great book and I know that I will read it again before I go hunting in Sept.
