Welcomed to the world!

Hey everyone,
Wednesday morning at 6:58, we welcomed a beautiful, healthy baby GIRL into the world. She was 8 lbs., 2 Oz, and 20" long. We named her Monroe Leiryn Halsey. Momma and Monroe are doing wonderful, and at home sleeping right now. The delivery was flawless, and I'll admit, I cried when I saw I her. My son, Memphis, who is 2 1/2, was the first to meet her, and he responded like I couldn't of imagined. He grabbed her hand, gave her a little kiss on the forehead, and said completely unprompted, out of the blue, "She my best friend, I keep her safe." Needless to say, that brought tears to my eyes again. I am one very proud daddy right now.
