That Kudo is beautiful, that's one of the few African animals that is actually on my "list".

Wascally Wabbits . . . I love me some bunny hunting, especially with good Beagles.

Most of my favorite trophies are the ones when I've helped others kill their first or best, etc. Thankfully, I've had the opportunity to do that a lot over the years. Getting people involved in the sport always feels better than downing an animal myself.

This is my brother with his first buck. I had this buck at a few steps on the ground (no blind) the year before. Couldn't get drawn on him before he was in stuff too thick to shoot. I'm actually happier that my brother killed him. I still had to drag him quite a ways though. LOL
Image

Called this fox in for my friend. His first ever fox. I used to use mouth diaphragm calls for this, since then we've upgraded to all kinds of fancy foxpros and stuff. We definitely put a hurting on the foxes though. Coyotes, not so much. hahaha

Same friend with his first bow kill. That's my old bow. I still miss that bow. Had a lot of kills with it. The following year I helped him get his first buck with a bow too, but can't seem to find pictures of it.
Image

This is actually a wounded warrior that I had the wonderful opportunity to mentor during an annual wounded warrior hunt a local farm puts on every year with the help of a lot of great people. I was able to set this awesome gentlemen and true HERO up with my bow. On the second morning I was lucky enough to call in this buck. His first bow kill ever. I'll remember this day forever, and I hope Joe does too.

My youngest brother when he first started hunting. He finally took his first deer with a bow this year. 6 pointer, but I can't seem to find a picture. :(

And just a few of mine:
My last bow gobbler before I got sick. I was with a good friend who was filming this hunt...with a plastic cover over the lens. DOH! lol
I'll be after them again this Spring though.

The only animal I've ever killed with a gun. (besides birds) This was upstate NY on public land. After all my friends left camp to go home for Thanksgiving. I stayed, ate cold turkey on the last piece of bread and a granola bar for Thanksgiving dinner and the following day broke our "4pt" streak. No one had ever seen or shot a buck larger than 4 points until this buck. This was a horrible drag. I was in the middle of nowhere and couldn't use a quad until I got it to my friends property line. I haven't been back since unfortunately.
Image

My last public land bow buck. Was with a good friend and it was just one of those days where every buck in the woods was dogging does like crazy. I passed a few other bucks before this guy wandered by. I almost passed him too, because I knew of a bigger buck in the area, but 8 yards broadside was hard to pass up.
Image

While the next pic isn't a trophy by conventional definition. I consider it a testament to how insanely addicted to bowhunting I am. When I tore my shoulder up, I made myself a mouth tab so I could continue to shoot. THANK GOD I didn't have to hunt like that for long. I rehabed my shoulder, still have pain and stuff, but it works for the most part.
Image

I can't seem to find any of the black bear photos. I've guided a few guys to black bears which is always exciting! But sucks for getting them out. I really wish I could still find all the pictures, especially friends and family. I need to save them some other way than just on computers that constantly get replaced. I can remember a few first turkeys for friends that seem like yesterday. I remember first deer, first foxes....Every hunt is still pretty vivid in my mind. Best memories ever. Thank GOD for memories.

WOW! All great trophies, but man...that MOOSE! Holy Smokes....might be the next animal I have to try and sneak an arrow through. For now I better just focus on elk though. hahaha...

Congrats to all! Nothing in the world better than hunting, especially with friends and family.

Dude that is one hell of a Shiras bull! If I knew how to photoshop I might plug my face into that pic and hang it on my wall for inspiration.

This was my elk with a bow. Hope to beat it someday! Heck of a first experience! My friend (also on this forem and who introduced me to the Elk Nut world) called him in to 15 yards for me.

I also threw in a pic of my first bow kill....
But my wife said I couldn't mount that one : )
