sad day in the archery world.

I just read that Mr Compound Tom Jennings passed away yesterday. Thank you Mr Jennings for all you did for our sport you will truly be missed

Dang!! Sorry to hear that. I still have my old original Jennings compound from back in the early 70's.

May he rest in peace. Yep, my first really cool compound bow was a Jennings Shooting Star.

I am saddened to hear of his passing. I remember when I could only dream of being able to own one of his bows. Reading this thread reminds me of how old I am becoming.

He was a great man, designed some fanastic compounds back in the day. I shot for Bear/Jennings in the early 90's, had the pleasure of being around him at the Vegas SHOT Show for a week every year for three years...Rest in peace sir!!

It amazed me today, people I thought should have known who Tom Jennings was didn't! The way I look at the things I enjoy is I want to know its history, from MMA, archery, fishing ect. I want to know who is responsible for putting wheels on a bow or who came up with the idea for plastic vain's. Its who we are and what we do.
