That picture is where I first saw the first elk I shot with my bow. We called him and he was bugling to us from the timber in the back of the photo on the right. He came walking out from behind that really white grass and I augered him right as he passed the grass. Sounded like a Buick going down the mountain. He is in my Avatar.

Yeah I believe the story with the post pic adds a whole lot to the picture!!@

I thought about that but didnt know if it was appropriate to tell the story before the vote.

That bull is where I learned about 2 am packouts as well...
