It’s time to vote on the WapitiTalk 2024 Photo of the Year Contest. All 2024 monthly winners (FEB thru December) have automatically been entered. Please take a few minutes to review the photos and vote for your favorite. For the 2024 photo voting, I've placed the monthly theme in each photo's description. Below were the rules for the monthly submissions.

1. One photo submission allowed per month, per member (yep, MODs may enter a photo also).
2. Photo must relate to the monthly theme (or risk being disqualified).
3. Do not use photo editing software to enhance your photo. Just post the photo as it was taken with your camera, smart phone, trail cam, etc. You may have to resize some photos, so they are accepted by the forum software.
4. You may use older photos you have on hand, but do not submit a photo that has won a previous WT photo contest.
5. Any WT member may enter a photo they have taken or star in.
6. Judging – WT members will vote on monthly photo submissions.
7. Contest period will normally end the last day of the month.
8. Winner must contact WapitiTalk1 via PM and provide mailing address for prize (your prize may be sent directly from a WT sponsor or from RJ).
9. Prizes will vary from month to month.

The prize for the Photo of the Year is to be determined.

Allright, let's do this. First place goes to Lefty (pic #8) with his October 24 entry, theme was "Fur Fangs and Claws"; second place goes to Thegreatwapiti (pic #10) with his December 2024 entry, theme was "Where the Earth Meets the Sky". Congrats to both and as always thanks to all who submitted photos and voted throughout the year, and a special thanks to our great sponsors who provide the contest prizes.

The two prizes I had set aside are:

1. Wapiti River Outdoors calling kit which includes one of his awesome bugle tubes, a handful of elk diaphragms, a WRO call holder (these things are very nice), and one of his wind checkers.

2. Complete Bow Spider bow packing and storage system "Grab your Bow and Go"!

Lefty, you get to choose which prize you want; the other goes to Thegreatwapiti.

Once Lefty selects, I'll need both of you PM me your current mailing address. I probably have them but want to make sure the goodies go the correct location.

We'll get the 2025 campaign started in March.

Sorry for the delay guys,,and to Thegreatwapiti
I have been gone,, maybe my once in a lifetime Ill ever go someplace warn and sandy and no cell reception. My wife and I went on a Caribbean Cruise, I cant seem to get her up to deer elk bear or goose camp I believe we each tend to make outr ownh luck,, and things went quite well on the trip home
.Landed in Denver and noticed we were at a different designated gate.
Looked at the arrival and departure time and there was a plane loading late for Idaho Falls.
Spoke with the gal at the counter, She said maybe we could get on that plane,,
Then said "you have 2 minutes"
My wife asked about our luggage and said"maybe we can find it fast.
Landed in Idaho Falls early. and there was our luggage,,,
Were home
My wife said I had a message from the forum,
the Flight we were to take was delayed , and may get Canceled
Ill be asleep before we were scheduled to leave Denver .

I was tempted for the Spider Grab and go But I often hunt out of different vehicles and would need three or four .

This year I made it a point to chew up all my useable diaphragm calls. I even keep one in my mouth some of the time bear and deer hunting from the blind.
