Today from the pulpit

Im a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, As congregation members we are generally the ones who prepare the "sermon's" ,,, or talks as we refer to them."Talks"often cover 30-40 minutes of the Sunday "sacrament" service
Today the two speakers had 48 minutes total for their time, longer than usual, with a short hymn after the first talk.

The first speaker occasionally told us about following promptings of the Sprit. And how prayer and following promptings and changes in his typical hunting abilities got him his first big bull this fall. He felt guided to use in an areas he had never hunted

Then my buddy Jon,,,his talk was about how challenges make us better people and how the challenge regarding the big whitetail he had that gave him the slip again,,

Great hunting stories,, I was fully engaged in both talks , sitting on the edge of the church pew. and A-plus -plus for the hunting stories
I believe most people weren't as "entertained " or spiritual fed as much as a few of us hunters,,,

But as a Sunday service talk,,, i'll let others do the judging:lol:
