OK, time to vote. Here are the photos for February 2024. The theme for this month was “There’s a storm rolling in”. It's the Columbia River right at the Canadian border where the Pend Oreille River joins it. It's a massive river even at that point. We fly fished for native Redband Rainbow Trout up there. What a unique and amazing place to fish.

Are those riffles at the far end of the water or is that the lead edge of the wind whipping up the water? At any rate you got my vote. I’ve been on the water in many storms. Some of them Wicked. Two tornadoes. That picture fits the definition of a impending storm. I try to stick to the monthly themes. You know like camp chow? lol! :lol:

I mean, it could have been camp chow?! :lol:

That white water is a riffle that time of year. Between May and August the river will drop 10-12' in height. So come August those are islands and the river out to the side actually gets quite a bit rougher. It's great habitat for big trout.
