Fire scare

Postby wawhitey » 09 15, 2023 •  [Post 1]

Out on the boat in alaska, started getting calls from parents, neighbor, and a range rider i know that saw the smoke from up on the mountain and ran down to check it out. Fire started where they were logging a property that borders mine, just over the property line, about 750 yards from my house. Scary stuff but the DNR got the helicopters on it super fast, burned 2.5 acres. Lucky it wasnt a windy day. What surprised me was onx had it showing on the active wildfire layer in less than 2 hours from when it started.

Cool! I've been thinking about purchasing the On X app. You may have just convinced me. Glad your property is safe.
