May 2023 WapitiTalk Photo of the Month Contest

This month’s theme is “Other game, big or small.. your call”. Post up some pics of non-elk hunting adventures.

1. One photo submission allowed per month, per member (yep, stinky MODs may enter a photo also).
2. Photo must relate to the monthly theme (or risk being disqualified).
3. Do not use photo editing software to enhance your photo. Just post the photo as it was taken with your camera, smart phone, trail cam, etc. You may have to resize some photos so they are accepted by the forum software; remember, photos can only be 800X600 pixels "MAX" for our forum.
4. You may use older photos you have on hand, but, do not submit a photo that has won a previous WT photo contest.
5. Any WT member may enter a photo they have taken or appear in.
6. Judging – WT members will vote on monthly photo submissions.
7. Contest period will normally end the last day of the month.
8. Winner must contact WapitiTalk1 via PM and provide mailing address for prize (your prize may be sent directly from a WT sponsor or from RJ).
9. Prizes will vary from month to month.
10. All monthly winners will be automatically entered into the "photo of the year" contest.

The prize for the May 2023 contest is a double pack of Alpine Touch Spices (Montana’s Special Spice).

Giddy up... good thing Bango is on a boat somewhere so he can't bother us with pictures of all his neighborhood cats.

Took this picture in Minnesota this weekend after sneaking up on a nesting pair of trumpeter swans! I believe this to be one of the best pictures I have ever taken!! Don't even care if it fits the category. Enjoy!

Got a lot of good pictures of this bear. I may end up changing my mind on which one to enter. I spent about 30 minutes within 40 yards of this bear last summer while on a wilderness area scouting trip. I had the wind, and he was busy chowing. I encountered him again during hunting season, but was never able to get a clean shot at him. He should still be there this year, and bigger.

Great day! My pointer flushed these all up by 10am. I must be getting better because I busted every one of them before they even got off the ground. On a different note my wife made me quit early to go to the optometrist. I tried telling her I had to gut and skin all these but she insisted.
