Postby WapitiTalk1 » 01 01, 2023 •  [Post 1]

OK, time to vote. Here are the photos for December 2022. The theme for this month was “Old Friend (critter variety)". Please feel free to refer to the original contest thread for author explanations of these awesome photos (where they came from, what they are about, etc.). Please only vote for one photo. Thanks to all for submitting your photos, and, for taking a minute to vote.

I'm gonna end this so we can get the 2022 WapitiTalk Photo of the Year contest rolling. Indian Summer and his rabbit pups is the lucky winner of the DEC 2022 WT Photo of the Month contest (I'll get a goodie sent your way Joe). As always, thanks to all who participate in these monthly contests and to all who take a minute to vote for their favorite entry. Watch the Photo of the Year thread coming your way soon ;)

I love beagles Swede. They are small and no matter how old they are they’re still like puppies. They were in their prime in that picture. I miss them and their wagging tails. I could watch them circle rabbits back to me all day. I don’t even need to shoot them. I don’t think I’ll ever have dogs again but if I did they would definitely be beagles.

Beagles were dad's favorite and mine also. They have a great nose, but a small brain. You have to watch out for them all of the time.

OK, I screwed the pooch on this one. Indian Summer has won a photo of the month contest with this same photo before, therefore (violation of the rules I established but obviously don't read), I'm making both photo #1 and photo #5 winners of the December contest (they tied in the voting). Back to our regularly scheduled program... Make sure you vote in the 2022 WT Photo of the Year contest.
