Stay of execution

Postby wawhitey » 12 05, 2022 •  [Post 1]

I was supposed to leave for alaska on wednesday morning. Just got a call that the job was pushed back until january 6th. I have a class scheduled jan 13th that i cant postpone, so i declined the job. I wont be working until late january or so now.
This is great, as i can now hunt lions for another month and a half.
The bad part is, now i wont have a good excuse for getting skunked. Ill do my best though. "The sun was in my eyes" or "my reeds froze up" or maybe "the snow is too deep". Im sure ill have a few more good ones ready in a couple months.

Don't forget, "it was spooked at the last second by another hunter." Anyway, congrats on getting the delay and best wishes.
