Think we live in a bubble....?

Postby Jhg » 05 19, 2022 •  [Post 1]

Anyone who enjoys being out in the natural world likes to see birds of prey. Seeing an Osprey or eagle snag a fish, red tail climbing a thermal. An owl.

I have found three dead hawks this spring and one barn owl.

Well the sharp shinned hawks in my back yard are doing just fine. They like to perch on a log in front of my cameras every day, multiple times a day, making my phone chirp at me. I pulled the card from my video mode camera there and turns out what theyre doing there is breeding. A lot. And making hilarious noises during the act. And afterward the female usually laughs at the male.

On the 27th of March we picked up a dead snow goose in the decoy spread, Only 10 yards from the blinds. We had a report of over 50 dead snow geese 40 miles away.

And my sister in laws families, free range layer operation had to destroy 1.5 million hens
