Thats awesome. I got an arrowhead somewhere around the umtanum like almost 30 years ago. Think it was the same trip where i saw bighorns for the first time. Dont know where it went, like lots of things i had as a kid. Im sure my dad would remember exactly where it came from, was actually him that found it while we were out running hills screwing around. He still mentions it occasionally. Never told him i lost it. It wasnt obsidian though, was some kind of flint with interesting coloration.

Very cool. I've never found one, but have also never looked for them.
I hunt therefore I am. I fish therefore I lie.

We have lots of obsidian to the north.
Nearly all the spear points my father in law has found all were cool colored flint on the Utah Wyoming Idaho borders

I dont look for them,, but after a rain obsidian shines.

Any old camping location along water often has chips and or split rocks around here.
