I'm a mile from national forest behind me.
Had an interesting hunt. Set more bait and blind for today's hunt
Snuck in on the bait and thought a coyote was on it. Later a red fox showed. A pine martin. Ravens and my buzzard friend visited too

I heard something big sniffing just feet away. My first thought was a elk. .
Then a low woof. Then I panicked. I couldn't see on that side of my blind and thought grizzly.
For about 10 seconds my 7mm felt small
By the time I quit shaking enough to open a window he was gone.
I'll check the cameras Saturday.
For the previous 45 minutes I heard the bear rolling rocks and a new boar on my bait had been rolling big rocks

Bear disrespected my blind last night

Bears really like to mess stuff up. They want you to know who's boss.
I hunt therefore I am. I fish therefore I lie.

I have a video of a bear eating my camera
Every camera this year had been fiddled with, Ive had so many ear whisker and sky pictures
Friday the smaller boar left his calling card 12 feet from the blind,
I need to take a pic of my one camera. 9 feet up, the bark on the tree is missing from wear
This one said hi years ago

We use to loose cameras yearly. We just take one tree stand step and put the camera up 8-9'. They still sniff them, but don't do any damage like they can if they don't have to climb to reach it.

I went to great effort to plant a bunch of chestnut trees up at the top of my property. A bear ripped down and stomped all the fences, allowing the deer to eat the trees.

Another bear came in my yard and destroyed my 3d targets, right after i put new inserts in them. I spun the inserts toshow undamaged sides, set the tarvets back up, and the jerk came back for round 2, did a much more thorough job. Rip spit, rip spit, rip spit..... yeah, theyre destructive jerks just for the fun of it.
