Vote! 2020 WT Photo of the Year Contest-Photos 7-11-WINNER!

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 01 11, 2021 •  [Post 1]

It’s time to vote on the WapitiTalk 2020 Photo of the Year Contest. All 2020 monthly winners have automatically been entered. Please take a few minutes to review the photos and vote for your favorite. There are two threads with images to vote on; only vote for one photo (I had to create two threads to get all the contestant images listed). Below were the rules for the monthly submissions.

1. One photo submission allowed per month, per member (yep, MODs may enter a photo also).
2. Photo must relate to the monthly theme (or risk being disqualified).
3. Do not use photo editing software to enhance your photo. Just post the photo as it was taken with your camera, smart phone, trail cam, etc. You may have to resize some photos so they are accepted by the forum software.
4. You may use older photos you have on hand, but, do not submit a photo that has won a previous WT photo contest.
5. Any WT member may enter a photo they have taken or star in.
6. Judging – WT members will vote on monthly photo submissions.
7. Contest period will normally end the last day of the month.
8. Winner must contact WapitiTalk1 via PM and provide mailing address for prize (your prize may be sent directly from a WT sponsor or from RJ).
9. Prizes will vary from month to month.

The prize for the Photo of the Year is a VIAM Outdoors, Ultra-light Hunter Game Set and whatever else I can find in my goodie box to send out. A big thanks to Tristan/VIAM Outdoors for providing such an awesome prize for this year’s winner.

I’m gonna run this a few more days and then, declare the winner. If you haven’t voted yet, please do so on one of the two threads.

Congratulation to TTD for an excellent photo. Did you catch any fish that day, or was the picture better than the fishing?

I caught one fish that afternoon, but it was a 19" cutthroat! And also the first fish on a new fly rod I'd just built.

Wow! That was a nice fish, and unless you had to share it, you had plenty for dinner.

Yes indeed. Probably the largest high mountain trout I've ever caught. I love eating fish from the mountains.

Congratulations Malachi! I wish I was where that picture was taken. Well.... not today of course. I’m sure it’s a bit chilly there at the moment!

Congratulations TTD, high mountain water is one of my favorite places to be. That definitely looks like an enjoyable day.

Thanks guys! That photo is my personal desktop background. I have to be careful though or it'll give me cabin fever!
