Wifes christmas present

Postby planebow » 12 18, 2012 •  [Post 1]

My wife won the four granite tiles (each one is a foot square) at a bow hunters convention several years ago. I just finished up the coffee table today. Made it with oak and inset the tiles. This picture with my phone does not do it any justice.

Very nice coffee table. BTW, are you sure that table for her? I am sure my wife would be suspicious if I made something like that for her.

It is for her as she has been after me foe several years to get it made. I had to put a shelf on the bottom because I have a small 6 pt shed that lays on top of our present coffee table now and needed some place to put it. After christmas when I get it in the house I will get a good pic of it and post.

Brought the table into the house on Christmas, the pictures came out a lot better then when it was in my shop. I am very happy the way it came out.

Hmmmmmmm! I have a glass topped coffee table. I also have a friend who is an engraver. Now if I could only talk the wife into getting ours done that way!?!?!?

That's a beautiful table you have there.
