Memorial Day Weekend

Postby Magic » 05 22, 2020 •  [Post 1]

Or maybe more properly called Remembrance Day. A time for us to Remember and to Thank those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our Freedom.

I appreciate all who have served, but sometimes am awestruck by those that paid the ultimate sacrifice.
When I have observed the headstones or reviewed lists of servicemen killed in action, I notice it never says Republican or Democrat. Sometimes I see a reference to religion such as a Cross or Star of David on a headstone, but rarely, and it never says things like Catholic or Protestant. I wish we could get back to those times and respect people, even when we disagree on some social or economic issue.
Anyway thanks Magic.
