What you buying with that stimulus check?

I dont think it changes anything in our household. Money was put into the same account, and we just stick to our budget!

Did you forget something Whitey? Something like paying your taxes or bothering to file a return? Huh?
Things do get complicated on those boats don't they?

I think I will end up buying a set of new tires for my pickup. Guess what??? The tires will cost $1,205 on sale. I have the $1,200 now. Can I set up a go fund me account to get the other $5 to cover the balance? :D

Funding my wife's IRA. All "free" money gets invested or used to pay off debt, which ever gets the better rate.

RJ you must be getting a much better stimulus check than I got, or heat pumps are a lot cheaper up in Washington.

My neighbor/friend is a commercial HVAC guy. He gets the units for cost and installs them as side jobs. I’ll get a new one out in at a big discount. ;)

I know a guy that owns a tire store in Twisp Washington. I would be glad to buy tires from him, but the tires would be 1/2 wore out I suppose by the time I got home.

Grass hay has been running about $120/800 #bale (3x3's) here during the summer. I'd hate to buy it now. I bought a few small squares (80#'s) the other day to get me by until grass greens up,They were $12 each, I didn't want to break open another big bale. Hope they get me thru as it snowed again

For years I have been wanting a Polaris Ranger. I have been looking on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace for a long time. What I found out was they hold their value so well that buying used is just not worth it. So on Wednesday, I did it. I bought a new Ranger 570. I like to go out into the garage and sit in it and pet it. I don't want to drive it in the mud or I will get the tires dirty. I just look at it. I drove it down the asphalt road, but that will wear the little thread things off the new tires, so that is out. I guess I am not going to really drive it, but just look at it. Man is it smooooooth! It has been like Christmas morning to a 7 year old for the last 3 days here for me!

I think I will go out and sit in it again.

Congrats Tigger on that new Ranger. Can I borrow it just for hunting season? I will surely get it back to you in time for you to sit on it Christmas morning.

Ours came in the mail Friday. I know that we are supposed to spend it to stimulate the economy, but for now, our economy is more important. :?

I just blew through all of my stimulus check and about $5 more. I ordered a set of new tires for my pickup. They are on sale at our local Les Schwab. I think they are the biggest tire retailer out west. I am not sure about that, but they are in many of the small towns in elk country so if you need service, L.S. is the place to go.

Happy to say I bought a new beanchmade knife. Man that thing is sharp.
Help out a local pig farmer and bought a 360 pound pig for a $100. (So I could use the knife) lol.
This week I'm getting a 1/4 beef from a coworker.
So most of my money went to food or making food.
The left over money is going to my fly in fishing trip in 2021.
