Wapiti Talk 2019 Photo of the Year WINNER!

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 01 25, 2020 •  [Post 1]

Please join me in congratulating 7mmfan (the other Rory) in winning the 2019 WT.com photo of the year contest. There were many, many great photos submitted during the 2019 monthly contests but 7mmfan won the grand prize for the yearly contest. Thanks to all who took the time to submit photos, and to all our members who voted. Well done folks. And a huge thanks to Game Planner Maps for such an awesome sponsor donated prize. 7mm, send me a note and I’ll give you the contact info for Ed from Game Planner maps. RJ

I'm humbled and thankful. I had a long speach planned, but I'd just turn I to a bumbling mess so I'll just graciously accept my prize and be on my way. Everyone enjoy their drinks, the first round is on me.

The only bad thing about looking at that photo is that I know I won't be able to get back into that spot until at least early July, probably later. I have a long time to wait :(

It sure brings back memories. I still have a tent like the one in that picture, and dad had one also. The setting sun makes it a little emotional too.

I do believe I voted for that picture... Not positive though. My memory's going in my old age

What a jerk. You could have voted for SWEDE! It probably is your old age all right.
