Glacier Park

Postby Tigger » 07 10, 2019 •  [Post 1]

We are going to Glacier early next month. Anybody have any good tips? We have all the guides and I think we are up on all the obvious stuff. Staying at the KOA in St. Mary.

It's all beautiful! Are you dead set on staying on the East side of the park or could you swing staying closer to Kalispell, West Glacier?

We already have reservations. From our research, it sounded like most things are on the east side....is that not true?

Honestly, I haven't spent much time on the E side of the park. Lived in the Flathead Valley for years (graduated from Columbia Falls).... so, West Glacier (and other spots to the North towards Eureka) were our jump off spots into the park. Sending you a PM :). RJ

We were planning glacier in August

My wife has decided we’re going where there aren’t people she thinks we can do the Alaskan. Highway in 10 days
I’m at scout camp so I can’t give you our planned itinerary
But she had secluded hikes set up originality

I’ll get back to you
