WA bear reg changes, support needed

Finally WDFW is proposing an improvement in our bear regulations that is long overdue, and will make the august 1st opener and 2 bear bag limit statewide, instead of a sept opener and 1 bear limit in eastern washington. If you hunt washington state please show your support for this! If it passes it will go into effect this year. Please BEFORE MAY 16TH send emails supporting these changes to:

So i keep a pic of myself from my camera sites that have a lot of bear activity to compare sizes. Ill be hunting this mountain starting next thursday. I might crap my pants if i call this pig in!

You going to do any bear hunting in august rj? The more bears that get killed, the more elk calves survive.

As every year, I buy a tag in WA (I buy the combo pack o’ tags). On the last day of bear season last year (while out helping a friend try to get his deer) I saw a dandy bear down in a clear cut below our walk in road. If he would have been closer (was 400 yards away) I may have shot it as my friend said he would gladly take the meat. I’ll have tag in pocket this year and if the opportunity presents itself, I may just do my part to save some hooved critters.
