The Good News

Postby Ponyboy_jonas » 12 01, 2015 •  [Post 1]

So my dad is known for making articles about his successful hunts. Now after this year he decided to put together an article about our father son North Dakota elk hunt. I didn't even know he was making an article until the day he finished it and that's when he let me read it. After I read it I thought it was one of his best writings he's ever made. So later on he sent them to a few hunting magazines including bugle magazine. Now today he got an email back from bugle magazine saying that they really liked it but they want another part of the story in "my words". They want it around 1000 words, and they will pay 30cents/word. I'm gunna give it my best shot on putting something together but I'm not the best at writing stories. Lol

Just think about your hunt one step at a time beginning with the planning. 1000 words will go fast.

In the future you might want to consider keeping a journal while you are hunting. Make an entry every night. You'll be surprised when you read it later the things that you might have forgotten.
