Well, I've got too many PP's for too many species to move from Colorado and kill my odds of drawing moose, sheep, goat tags as well as well as render my elk points useless. There are a few other states that I'd consider but I've already taken the time and effort to get things pretty well dialed in here in CO so I'm staying.

I just had this come up and she doesn't approve. Found a job in Polson Montana and it looked awesome right on Flathead Lake, but alass it wasn't meant to be.

I am retired and could move wherever my wife and I would like to go. It will take more than a good elk tag to get me to relocate. When I worked for the Forest Service I turned down job offers in Idaho and Montana. For less than $1,000 per year more than where I hunt, I could still hunt there. I love hunting elk, but that lasts only one month per year for the most part.

Hmmm... Her family is in northern Michigan and mine is in central Missouri. So, maybe Wisconsin to enjoy the lakes and whitetail hunting. Of course, I'd need to make more money in order to come back out west and hunt elk every year!!

I live in a pretty good place now with a 2 hour ride to where I like to hunt,.. or for geese, Hm I can be in Wyoming or Montana in two hours too
the way my school district was going I did have a place picked out in Wyoming Even found Wyoming riverfront property 80 acres for $79 K great fishing, cold winters and would be able to see big game ground from the front and back nd sides of the house

Yeah, I wouldnt be moving to Montana for elk hunting only. Its the outdoor life style that I would love to have.
